Death's Daughter and the Ebony Blade summary: Despite facing the Gate to the Underworld, Olivia miraculously survived thanks to the whim of Zed, the death god. He raised her until she was of age, but then suddenly vanished, leaving behind a letter, a brilliant red jewel, and an ominous black sword.
