Maico 2010 summary: Maico is a fresh face on the Japanese radio scene, but she faces countless roadblocks that impede her ability to work as a successful DJ. Fanatic admirers, hired assassins, and even members of her own team make it difficult for her to focus on her passion. Unaware of her true nature as a sexdroid created for intimate encounters, Maico believes her purpose is simply to excel as a DJ. Her creator, Otari Masudamasu, envisioned a lifelike human being, not just a sex toy. Despite her designation, Maico has never engaged in sexual activities and can be hesitant at times. As she navigates relationships and matters of the heart, she teams up with Rei, Masudamasu's first android modeled after her deceased sister. Together, they take on the corrupt individuals who seek to control Rei and ruin Maico's life. The pair eventually becomes known as the Cherry-Bombs, a powerful team of crime-fighting DJs.
